Transfinder, a leading provider of transportation management solutions for more than 1,500 school districts in North America and the Caribbean, today announced the formation of a new product management team. Lisa Cammarota brings more than ten years experience in software design and process analysis to her new role. She was most recently a software design analyst with Autotask in East Greenbush and has held a number of computer systems and IT positions within New York state agencies. As director of product management, Lisa will collaborate across departments and with clients to identify and define product requirements, establish priorities, and work with development and R&D leadership to continually improve product performance and the user experience. She also will institute processes and practices for the timely delivery of features and products that meet the changing needs of Transfinder clients. Lisa holds an M.S. in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
Clinton Smith, who has been with Transfinder since 2012 as software project manager, has been promoted to product manager. As software project manager he was responsible for managing the processes and timelines involved in the development of new product features and client-focused enhancements. In his newly expanded role, he will work closely with Lisa on new and current products, managing the priorities for new feature requests from clients and ensuring that timelines are met. He also will collaborate across departments and work with development and R&D teams to facilitate interactions that lead to successful product deployments. Clinton holds an MBA from RPI’s Lally School of Management and Technology and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.
