Transfinder Outpaces Previous Records, In Anniversary Year It’s “Back to Basics”

SCHENECTADY, NY - January 30, 2008 - Transfinder, a leading provider of transportation management solutions for school districts nationwide, today announced record growth for 2007.  The company partnered with 146 new clients and realized a 25% increase in new sales revenue over 2006.  2007 also brought another double-digit increase in total annual revenues, a 27% gain outpacing the substantial 20% growth of the previous year.

The Schenectady-based company now serves more than 850 school districts and its products are used in 46 states. With additions in implementation, support and marketing, Transfinder’s staff expanded 28% in 2007.

2008 ushers in Transfinder’s 20th anniversary and what President and CEO Antonio Civitella calls a “Back to Basics” mindset. “We can all get caught up in the business buzzwords that you hear everywhere: scalable, integrated, seamless.  It’s easy during growth periods like we’re experiencing to fall into the trap of relying on a ‘cutting edge’ plan to fuel even more growth.  What I’m focusing on with everyone at Transfinder is that the core of any good business plan is what we’ve prided ourselves on over the last 20 years—doing right by our customers, day in and day out.  That will continue to be the most critical element as our goals expand.  Our customers are the reason we’re where we are today, and, as we answer every call and every email, we will continue to express our gratitude by doing the best job we can for them.”
